Andrea Lazard
Executive Producer
Andrea Lazard, a native Minnesotan, and lover of all things Scorsese received her B.A. from the University of MN in Film Studies and landed her first internship doing promotions and publicity for the college markets for Paramount Pictures. After college, she moved into the theatrical world working in the production services division of VEE Entertainment, the producers of such stage shows as Sesame Street Live!. She eventually pursued an opportunity to work on her first feature film, where she met the love of her life and moved to Austin. Since that time, she has established a career for herself in features, commercials, and print photography. In between her commercial world life, Andrea has worked alongside notable filmmakers on such films as Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion, Jonathan Levine’s All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, David Gordon Green’s Joe and Manglehorn, and also worked on 8 years of Richard Linklater’s award-winning film Boyhood. When she’s not working, Andrea can be found on the volleyball courts or singing a Frank Sinatra tune.
I’m Shannon. Producer. Agent. West Texas Native.
Growing up in the El Paso borderlands, I was shaped by the desert’s rugged beauty and those cinematic sunsets. Photography hasn’t just been a career for me; it’s been my environment since I was a child. From my early days behind a lens to long hours in the darkroom, I’ve always been obsessed with the craft. I even salvaged the old revolving darkroom door from the GSD&M back in the day, a literal piece of the history I love.
I spent over 15 years as an Art Producer at GSD&M, a role I chose specifically to work alongside global clients and the world’s best commercial photographers. I could have been an Art Director or a photographer myself, but I realized the best path was the one where I got to collaborate with all the artists.
Today, I lead Homestead Creatives, where I represent photographers and navigate between agencies and clients, usually with a healthy dose of humor and grace. After all, if you aren’t having a little fun along the way, what’s the point? To me, photography is how we hold onto the genuine, and I’m proud to work with artists who ensure those moments live forever.
