With a background in photography and advertising, Shannon McMillan is ideally suited as owner, agent, and producer of Homestead Creatives. She has what it takes to successfully work with high-profile and demanding global clients having been an Art Producer in Austin for over 15 years, Shannon is well-connected. Her ability to work with talented high-profile photographers and integrated production teams in a variety of shooting situations proves she understands the multi-layered relationships between artist and client, expertly managing true collaborative productions, resulting in extremely successful campaigns – with integrity at all levels.

Andrea Lazard, a native Minnesotan, and lover of all things Scorsese received her B.A. from the University of MN in Film Studies and landed her first internship doing promotions and publicity for the college markets for Paramount Pictures. After college, she moved into the theatrical world working in the production services division of VEE Entertainment, the producers of such stage shows as Sesame Street Live!. She eventually pursued an opportunity to work on her first feature film, where she met the love of her life and moved to Austin. Since that time, she has established a career for herself in features, commercials, and print photography. In between her commercial world life, Andrea has worked alongside notable filmmakers on such films as Robert Altman’s A Prairie Home Companion, Jonathan Levine’s All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, David Gordon Green’s Joe and Manglehorn, and also worked on 8 years of Richard Linklater’s award-winning film Boyhood. When she’s not working, Andrea can be found on the volleyball courts or singing a Frank Sinatra tune.

Our Austin advertising and movie industry is a fast growing business which has changed dramatically over the past 20 years. Agencies and directors are coming from all over the world to shoot in Austin, and demand for local professional artists is continually increasing.
Established in 2014, Homestead Creatives is committed to representing Austin-based photographers and directors, and dedicated to supporting local make-up stylists, wardrobe stylists, prop stylists, producers, etc. Our mission is to guide these artists to grow their individual businesses, and ensure that each production runs smoothly. We’re a family of genuinely talented creatives who want bring their stories to life. Our values center around being hardworking, collaborative, invested, and celebratory.
